2415 (Penkridge) Squadron has a thriving community of Air Cadets, uniformed staff and civilian volunteers. As part of one of the largest youth organisations in the country we are tremendously proud of our squadron, our positive attitude, sense of friendship and fun, delivered in a highly professional and rewarding environment.

Every week our cadets aged 12 (Year 8) to 19 from all sorts of backgrounds get involved in everything the RAF Air Cadets has to offer. If you live in Penkridge, Cannock, the surrounding areas, or you go to school here and want to get involved, get in touch with us. Who knows, next weekend you could find yourself going flying, gliding, shooting, on an expedition, parachuting, playing sports, parading, or camping

We guarantee that you won't find the incredible combination of adventure, opportunity and fun that the RAF Air Cadets offers anywhere else. Cadets and adult volunteers all gain the same second-to-none experience where you can make lasting friendships and build upon your confidence, skills and achievements.

If you've made it to this page then you're probably looking for a challenge; something to bring out what you're really capable of. Well, Air Cadets is where you get to prove it - you may even surprise yourself with what you can achieve. Come on down on a Monday or Thursday evening between 7:00pm and 9:30pm.

Every weekend our cadets are out doing something amazing: flying, gliding, leading, climbing, kayaking, hiking, camping, marching, shooting, learning, succeeding...

Parents and Volunteers

If you're aged over 20 you can volunteer. That's it. No need for military experience or any form of previous training - we'll take care of that. We're just looking for suitable, enthusiastic individuals to help our cadets get the most from their time with us.

The benefits of being a part of the Royal Air Force Air Cadets are the same for volunteers as for cadets - the opportunity to do lots of exciting activities and develop personal skills and talents.
